[the title of this poem is the symbol of a spiral]

UP THROUGH THE DEPTHS
THE WATERS BREAK THEN FLOW
THEN BURNING BREATHS
OF WHAT I DO NOT KNOW

A FALL AGAIN
IT'S LITTLE BUT IT BREAKS
THE INNOCENCE
TURBULENCE IN ITS WAKE

FLAMES HIGH THE BLAZE
PLUMB DEEP THE SACRED SPRING
A WESTWARD GAZE
A FOND REMEMBERING

DARKNESS, THEN DEATH
A STILLNESS, THEN REVIEW
NINE LAPS 'ROUND LETHE
THEN A SHINING THROUGH

I can't do rhyming verse to save my ever loving life, so I am always impressed when someone does it well.

I love the allusion to Lethe, here. Beautiful poetry. Thank you for sharing your Soul.

Not a lot of folk would recognize that reference, nor have clue it's meaning. I think Pagans tend to read more in general.
Thank you for sharing it, Lady Sidhe...
