The Voice..

As for the song-- the words... the Voice that rings out to me over the centuries-- I canna add naught. Unless veins of eye-water be addition...

As for the goddess singing it, I can only say that it is one thousand percent ILLEGAL to be THAT DAMNED CUTE!!!
Someone put her in handcuffs and.. well, I'll Take her--er, it-- from there...

I'VE HEARD THE VOICE
I'VE SEEN THE FACE
I'VE KNOWN THE HEART
I'VE FELT THE SOUL

WE SENSE THE COLD--
WE'RE STILL APART;
PHYSICAL SPACE
LEAVES US NO CHOICE...

High, clear, and sweet, it is a voice that haunts, calls, beckons...

She has a remarkably clean sound, and I am envious...

The drummer is certainly something, too, and the fiddler...and what I woudln't give to have a part in such a show, however small the part be. Eh, one may dream...

damn mighty Bodhran, i reckon... never noticed that before-- i saw the drum, yes, but not it's 'lineage' as it were...

amazing what a few hours in the park will do to open the Psyche...

thanks, Lady K...

i, too, long to speak, in any aspect, thus; stage... what a beautiful, sharing outlet, a sweet spot for outpouring...

Beltane weekend, the band performed at a Pagan event. A few hundred folks attended the concert, and we had a lovely time. Mistakes were made, and at one point I broke one of my bandmates entirely, sending her into fits of laughter that ended a song prematurely. Most unprofessional. Heh.

Lucky we have a forgiving and friendly crowd of fans.

I may never be on a large stage with professional lighting, sound, but when the audience is so forgiving, ready to laugh with us, ready to stand in a giant circle and sing along to a healing song, lend their love and energy to the music...well...that'll do, Kyd, that'll do.
